1 Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Caring Vision Therapy website at caringvision.xyz and all clinical services provided by Caring Vision Therapy ("we", "us", "our") in Chennai, Hyderabad, and via telehealth.
By booking an appointment, enrolling in a therapy programme, accessing our telehealth services, or using this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you are acting on behalf of a minor patient, you confirm you are their parent or legal guardian with authority to consent on their behalf.
We reserve the right to update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email with at least 14 days' notice.
2 Clinical Services
Caring Vision Therapy provides evidence-based vision therapy and neuro-optometric rehabilitation services. All clinical care is delivered by or under the supervision of qualified, registered optometrists with relevant specialist certifications (COVD, NORA).
- Clinical services are available at our Chennai and Hyderabad clinic locations, and via structured telehealth programmes for eligible patients globally
- A comprehensive functional vision evaluation is required before any therapy programme is prescribed
- Therapy programmes are individually tailored; outcomes cannot be guaranteed as they depend on patient-specific clinical factors and adherence to the programme
- We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services where it is not clinically appropriate, or where our code of conduct cannot be maintained
3 Appointments & Cancellations
3.1 Booking
Appointments may be booked via our website, telephone, WhatsApp, or email. A booking confirmation is sent to your registered email or phone number.
3.2 Cancellation Policy
- 24 hours' notice required: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment
- Late cancellations: Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the consultation fee
- No-shows: Failure to attend without notice may be charged the full consultation fee
- Our cancellations: In the rare event we need to cancel an appointment, we will provide at least 24 hours' notice and offer a full refund of any pre-payment or priority rescheduling
3.3 Repeated Non-Attendance
Patients who repeatedly fail to attend scheduled therapy sessions without adequate notice may have their therapy programme paused pending clinical review.
4 Telehealth Services
Our structured telehealth vision therapy programmes are available to eligible patients internationally. The following specific conditions apply:
- Technical requirements: A stable internet connection, a device with a functioning camera, and an appropriate physical space for exercises are the patient's responsibility
- Clinical suitability: Not all vision therapy interventions are suitable for telehealth delivery. Suitability will be assessed at the initial evaluation
- Jurisdiction: Telehealth services are provided from India under Indian law. You are responsible for confirming that receiving such services is lawful in your home country
- Technical failure: If a session is lost due to connectivity failure after it has commenced, the session will be deemed to have occurred if more than 15 minutes of clinical contact was completed
- Recording: Sessions are not recorded without explicit prior written consent from all parties
- Emergency situations: Telehealth is not appropriate for emergency situations. In a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately
5 Payment & Fees
- Consultation and therapy programme fees are provided at the time of booking and are subject to change with advance notice
- Payment is accepted by cash, debit/credit card, UPI, and bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS)
- For international patients, fees are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR); currency conversion and any international transfer charges are the patient's responsibility
- Refunds: Pre-paid therapy programme fees are refundable (less a 10% administrative charge) if the programme has not commenced. Once commenced, refunds are prorated based on sessions remaining
- Caring Vision Therapy does not directly bill insurance companies; we can provide receipts and documentation to support insurance reimbursement claims
6 Clinical Limitations
- Clinical outcomes from vision therapy vary between individuals and are influenced by the nature of the condition, patient age, frequency of sessions, adherence to home exercises, and other clinical factors
- We do not guarantee specific clinical outcomes
- Our clinical team will keep you fully informed of expected timeframes and progress benchmarks throughout your programme
7 Patient Responsibilities
To receive the best clinical outcomes, patients and their guardians agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete medical history and current health information
- Disclose any medications, medical conditions, or other treatments that may be relevant
- Attend appointments as scheduled or provide adequate notice of cancellation
- Complete prescribed home-based therapy exercises as instructed
- Treat clinical and administrative staff with respect and dignity at all times
- Update us promptly of any change in health status during a therapy programme
8 Website Use
This website is provided for informational purposes about our services. You agree not to:
- Use the website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates applicable laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its underlying systems
- Transmit any harmful, offensive, or malicious content through website forms or communications
- Reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any content from this website without written permission
9 Intellectual Property
All content on this website - including text, images, clinical descriptions, logos, design elements, and educational materials - is the property of Caring Vision Therapy or its licensed content providers, protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 (India) and applicable international copyright law.
You may print or download single copies of pages for personal, non-commercial reference only. Republication, redistribution, or use in other works requires prior written consent.
10 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- Caring Vision Therapy shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our website or services
- Our maximum liability for any claim arising from clinical services shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud
- Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices
11 Complaints Process
We are committed to resolving concerns promptly and fairly. If you have a complaint:
- Step 1 - Contact us directly: Email or call our clinic. We will acknowledge within 2 business days and aim to resolve within 14 days
- Step 2 - Escalate to our Clinical Director: If unresolved, request escalation in writing to our Clinical Director
- Step 3 - Regulatory bodies: You may contact the Optometry Council of India or relevant state optometry body if your complaint relates to clinical standards
12 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
We encourage resolution of any dispute through direct communication before pursuing formal legal proceedings.
