Motor Axonal Neuropathy (OR) Guillain-Barre Syndrome – Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation & Vision Therapy
A rare variant of Guillain-Barre Syndrome where the body's immune system selectively destroys motor nerve axons, producing extreme weakness, oculomotor dysfunctions, vergence and accommodation disorders, balance deficits, and reduced quality of life. This case study presents a 20-year-old male whose COVD Quality of Life score improved from 44 (Pre-VT) to 18 (Post-VT), and Visual Symptoms Survey Score from 72 to 20, following structured Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation and Vision Therapy including Syntonics Phototherapy.
