We are proud to be associated with and Officially signed and exchanged the MOU – agreement between “CARING VISION THERAPY & NEURO-VISION REHABILITATION CENTRE and SAVEETHA MEDICAL COLLEGE. (SAVEETHA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL & TECHNICAL SCIENCES – SIMATS), Chennai. Now our reputed Organization will serve as a Training Institute for the students of Saveetha Medical College (Graduate & Post Graduate) -Department of Optometry- Allied & Health Sciences.

Caring Vision Therapy and Neuro- Vision Rehabilitation Centre is a well-known, highly reputed and India’s biggest practice of Vision Therapy. We as a center offer highly specialized Clinical practice in the field of Vision Therapy, Vision Development & Vision Rehabilitation.

In recent years we have evident a huge surge in the interest among the students of Optometry to learn and get experience in the field of Vision Therapy. To cater the same interest and to provide a world class education and training in the field of Vision Therapy we have established Caring Vision Academy (R).
Caring Vision Academy offers Clinical Internship, Fellowship and Clinical Residency Training in the field of Binocular Vision, Vision Therapy & Neuro Optometric Rehabilitation.
Courses and Training programmes we offer
- Residency Training – One year training on Binocular Vision, Vision therapy & Neuro-Optometry
- Fellowship Program – Six months training on Binocular Vision & Vision therapy
- Certification Program – Three months Observer-ship on Binocular Vision, Vision therapy & Neuro-Optometry
- Blended Learning Fellowship Training Model – Online Didactics along with In-person hands-on training customized to the candidate (Fee structure will be based on the individual requirements)
Recruitment Process:
- Application form to be downloaded, filled and emailed to Caring vision academy
- Applications will be scrutinized, and an interview with the candidate will be conducted to assess the eligibility and choice of the course
Scope of the Private Practice Residency Training:
The Residency program is a one-year Intensive clinical training program on Binocular vision, vision therapy, handling children with special needs and Neuro-Optometry. At least 85 percent of the training will be spent on clinical observations, with the rest of the time spent on didactic lectures, group teaching and case-based learning. There will be one advisor to assist the resident who will provide mentoring and guidance during the program. Two case reports of publishable quality have to be submitted prior during the Residency program. Outreach activities will focus on screening in special schools consisting of children with special needs, delayed development, Autism, attention deficit and learning disabilities. The resident must have observed a minimum of 200 cases during the training, and should have individually handled 50 cases to be eligible for completion. Scope of the Fellowship Training:
The Fellowship course for 6 months is designed to provide clinical experience on Binocular Vision and basics of Vision Therapy.
